skeptv: MRI video of childbirth via benetherington: In 2010, researchers recorded a vertical cross-section of a woman’s torso as she gave birth. They finally released video of it to the public. Here you can see the final two contractions, sped up quite a bit. The video cuts off as the head emerges from the birth canal so that the newborn would not be directly exposed the loud MRI machine.
